  • Palate – Lime, vanilla, light rye spice.

  • Finish – Short and light. Honey Dew, Oak, and Citrus note.

Food Pairing – Grilled Shrimp Tacos

  • Tequila and shrimp is one of those classic pairings that just works. For this one, Katie and I leaned into the citrus and lime notes coming from the tequila finish and landed on grilled shrimp tacos. Keeping the pairing light and fresh lined up really well with the notes in the pour.

  • Blood Oath Pact 11 stands out because of the tequila finish, and you feel that influence right away. The citrus, honey, and mint notes give the pour a brighter profile, while the rye spice keeps it grounded as bourbon. The tequila barrels don’t overpower anything, but they add a distinct edge that sets this one apart from a traditional bourbon finish. It’s approachable, easy to sip, and unlike anything else in the calendar.
