Tasting Notes

  • Nose – Reminiscent of banana’s foster with vanilla, cinnamon, and brown sugar.

  • Palate – Peanut butter, toasted oak, and a dark fruit note like black currant.

  • Finish – Light and dry with a touch of sweetness and leather.

Food Pairing – Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

  • I went full culinary perfection with this pour and paired it with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Katie isn’t a peanut butter fan, but it made perfect sense here. The peanut butter leans into that nutty palate note, the jelly pulls out the dark fruit notes, and the bread helps mellow the light, dry finish. And if you’re not a peanut butter fan like Katie, banana’s foster is another great option that works just as well.

Nav and Katie’s Thoughts

  • This bottle had me reminiscing about the good old days of Jack and Coke in college, while also making me think about how far my whiskey journey has come. Sitting with this pour, it really hit me how much my appreciation for Jack Daniel’s has evolved. Batch 3 of Jack 12 keeps all the classic Jack Daniel’s notes you expect, but elevates them to a whole new level,
